French Dictionary - Dict Box App Reviews

I have been looking for a very good dictionary but all the apps seem to only want to work if they sell advertising. This app truly works off line. While it can push advertising content when online connectivity is connected it doesnt hamper the ability to use it when there is no connectivity. I just went to France and connectivity is an issue when Im there because I dont want to pay for the high cellular data. Also the dictionary is more robust than many of the others I have seen. It captures words that are either conjugated, plural, past participles, and basically many of the other word forms that many other dictionaries just cant seem to match up well. Another nice feature is that text to audio feature. Very useful to the new learner who just cannot have a native French speaker by their side 24/7. And most text to audio works while off line. I love the split level interface also so that when one word is being looked up and you need to look up a word the the definition itself the screen splits and gives you a quick peak at the 2nd word looked up with out loosing your view of the first word. Very nice feature. I would put this on the top list of any French dictionary apps and would definitely recommend that you pay money for this App. --Dan

The best dictionary

Fairly comprehensive and pretty accurate. User friendly enough to get what you need, even if you dont find a lot of extras along the way.

As a professional foreign language teacher I highly recommend this multi-faceted dictionary. I use it daily. Unfortunately, the picture dictionary for French stopped working a couple of days ago. Plus, occasionally the audible review just keeps going even when you turn it off. Otherwise, fantastic!

Amazing. It has most of the words I need, and multiple links to help me with words it doesnt have. Very quick. Works offline, but I love the extra examples it gives when online. Couldnt ask for better

Only with one click you have the meaning, human pronunciation and noting. And with the second clicking you have The Q Look Up which is diamond of this dictionary. And with the third clicking you have the Flashcard which is the reminder of your vocabulary.

This is the best dictionary Ive ever had! you can find almost every word or expression you want in it.

If you want to avoid being exposed to sexually explicit images, you need to go into settings and turn off images. What are the developers thinking? The images have absolutely nothing to do with the definitions!

Fake fake fake Thegnux, Nakute, Manson and Lechanga are all the developer himself What a shame !!!
